Anti-racism is recognizing that racism isn’t just a problem of the past—it’s still woven into the way our society works today. It’s about seeing how unfair systems affect people differently based on race, and choosing not to ignore that.
Instead of claiming to be “not racist,” anti-racism asks us to pay attention, to question the way things are, and to take responsibility for making change. This means acknowledging that all of us—especially those who’ve benefited from these systems—have a role to play in undoing them.
Being anti-racist is a life long process, not a one-time decision. It’s about listening to people who’ve been hurt by racism, learning from their stories, and being willing to sit with discomfort when the truth hits hard.
It’s about taking action—whether that means speaking up, showing up, changing policies, or changing ourselves. At its core, anti-racism is about choosing courage over comfort, and justice over silence, every day.
This is not the feel-good version of anti-racism.
This is the kind that reshapes you —
the kind that’s uncomfortable, unending, and absolutely necessary.
The work is long.
It’s often lonely.
And it ongoing work that lasts a lifetime.
Some of us have lost friends.
and sometimes even family.
And when we speak up, the white backlash comes.
“Race traitor.”
“Race baiter.”
“White savior.”
“Virtue signaler.”
As if standing against harm is something to be ashamed of.
But we wear those words like stripes.
Marks that show we’re doing something right —
disrupting the comfort of whiteness.
Refusing to play it safe.
What we’ve gained runs deeper:
Clarity.
Community.
Purpose.
Integrity.
Antiracist.info exists to support people —

Not for credit.
Not for coins.
Not for clicks.
But because we’ve benefited from systems built on harm —
and we have a responsibility to face that Head on.
